5 EASY STEPS TO MAKE DELICIOUS CASHEW NUT COOKIES
STEP 1: PREHEAT AND PREP
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Chop 1 cup of cashew nuts and set aside.
STEP 2: MIX THE DOUGH
In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup of butter and 1/2 cup of sugar. Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 1/4 cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
STEP 3: ADD CASHEWS AND MIX
Fold in the chopped cashew nuts into the dough. Mix until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
STEP 4: SCOOP AND BAKE
Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
STEP 5: COOL AND ENJOY
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your delicious cashew nut cookies!
