* STAY ACTIVE AND MOVE REGULARLY: Avoid sitting for long periods; take breaks to stretch and walk, especially during long flights or desk work.

* STAY HYDRATED: Drink plenty of water to keep blood thin and prevent clot formation.

* EXERCISE REGULARLY: Activities like walking, swimming, and cycling improve circulation and reduce clot risk.

* MAINTAIN A HEALTHY WEIGHT: Obesity increases pressure on veins and raises clot risk, so weight management is crucial.

* AVOID SMOKING AND LIMIT ALCOHOL: Smoking damages blood vessels and increases clotting risk, while excessive alcohol can disrupt blood clotting balance.

* WEAR COMPRESSION STOCKINGS: If at risk, compression socks can help improve circulation and prevent deep vein thrombosis. 

* MANAGE MEDICAL CONDITIONS: Control diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease to keep blood vessels healthy.

* TAKE BLOOD THINNERS IF PRESCRIBED: If you're at high risk, follow your doctor’s instructions for anticoagulant.
