WHAT IS HIV/AIDS?
HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that attacks the body's immune system.
AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) is the final stage of HIV infection.

1. Sexual contact (vaginal, anal, oral)
2. Blood transfusions (rare in developed countries)
3. Sharing needles or syringes
4. Mother-to-child transmission (pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding)
5. Occupational exposure (healthcare workers)
SYMPTOMS OF HIV/AIDS
1. Flu-like symptoms (fever, fatigue, rash)
2. Swollen lymph nodes
3. Weight loss
4. Diarrhea
5. Skin lesions
STAGES OF HIV/AIDS
1. Acute HIV infection (0-6 months)
2. Clinical latency (6 months-10+ years)
3. AIDS (severe immune system damage)
