POTENTIAL RISKS OF HIBISCUS TEA 

1. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Hibiscus tea may cause negative interactions with certain medications, such as anti-malaria drugs and birth control medication.

2. PREGNANCY AND LACTATION: It may be unsafe for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals to drink hibiscus tea.

3. LIVER DAMAGE: High concentrations of hibiscus extract may cause liver damage.

4. LOW BLOOD PRESSURE: Individuals with low blood pressure should drink hibiscus tea with caution as it may lower blood pressure even further.

5. SIDE EFFECTS: Some people who drink hibiscus tea may experience nausea, headaches, ringing in the ear and dermatitis.

6. ALLERGY: Some people may be allergic to hibiscus tea, especially those who are allergic to members of the Malvaceae plant family.
