Several goods seized as Lagos taskforce rid streets of Ilegal traders
Disclosing this on social media, the state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, wrote
“Yesterday night, the enforcement teams conducted operations across key areas in and around the Island to enforce compliance with environmental regulations and ensure our streets remain clean and safe.
From the link bridge at Iyana Oworo to Victoria Island’s busy streets including Idowu Martins, Ahmadu Bello Way, Ligali Ayorinde, and more, the teams worked diligently to rid these areas of illegal trading activities and improper waste disposal.
We remain committed to maintaining a cleaner Lagos. I urge all residents and business operators to adhere to environmental laws and contribute to a sustainable future. Together, we can make Lagos a cleaner, healthier place for everyone.
