SYMPTOMS OF TUBERCULOSIS
* PERSISTENT COUGHING: A cough lasting 3+ weeks, producing mucus or phlegm, sometimes bloody.
* CHEST PAIN: Pain or discomfort in chest, worsened by coughing, breathing, or movement.
* COUGHING UP BLOOD OR PHLEGM: Coughing up blood, rust-colored sputum, or thick, yellow or green phlegm.
* FATIGUE AND WEAKNESS: Feeling extremely tired, weak, or lacking energy.
* WEIGHT LOSS: Unexplained weight loss, loss of appetite, or decreased interest in food.
* NIGHT SWEATS AND FEVER: Recurring night sweats, fever (usually low-grade), chills, or flushing.
* SHORTNESS OF BREATH: Difficulty breathing, rapid breathing, or feeling winded even when resting.
