THINGS WE CAN DO TO HELP US SLEEP BETTER

1. Establishing a regular sleep schedule: Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day can help regulate our body's internal clock.

2. Creating a relaxing sleep environment: This includes keeping our bedrooms dark, cool, and quiet, and using comfortable bedding.

3. Relaxation techniques: Techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, and yoga can help reduce stress and promote relaxation.

4. Avoiding stimulating activities before bed: This include activities such as watching TV, using electronic devices, and engaging in intense physical activity.

5. Avoiding caffeine and alcohol: Both of these substances can interfere with sleep, so it's best to avoid them in the evening.

6. Sleep hygiene: These are the general practices and habits that are conducive to sleeping well on a regular basis, such as avoiding late meals, getting exposure to natural light, and avoiding long daytime naps.
