NCS to construct PHC facility in Illela border community

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Sokoto/Zamfara Area Command has expressed intention to construct a primary health care facility at Illela border community, Sokoto state.

This was stated in a post shared on the X handle of the NCS on Thursday, March 7.

It reads in part: "In line with its determination to give back to society through effective Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, the Nigeria Customs Service, Sokoto/Zamfara Area Command, announced on 5 March 2024 the intention to construct a Primary Health Care Facility at Illela Border station.

"In a press statement signed by Superintendent of Customs Abdullahi Abubakar, Public Relations Officer of the command revealed that the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Kamal Mohammed, disclosed the initiative during a working visit to Illela Border Station in Sokoto State. He revealed that the facility, upon completion, aims to cater for both Customs officers and the Illela community."
