Moses toughest forward I’ve faced – Shaw

England and Manchester United defender, Luke Shaw, has mentioned Nigerian forward, Victor Moses, as one of the toughest players he’s ever come up against in his football career, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

Shaw has had the pleasure of sharing the pitch with some of the biggest names that football has had to offer during his career but surprisingly the left-back remembered his encounter with Moses during his early days with Southampton and admitted that was his toughest challenge.

During the 28-year-old first full senior season, Southampton welcomed Chelsea in the FA Cup third round in 2013 and fell to a 5-1 defeat.

Legends including Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard both featured for the Blues but the performance from Moses sticks out above the rest.
