'Be watchful', police warn Nigerians of one-chance robbers

The Nigeria Police Force has once again warned Nigerians about the actions of one-chance criminals across the country.

According to the police, one of the methods used by thieves to rob Nigerians is known as "Shifting Chair – One Chance."

This was made known in a photo shared on the force's Facebook page on Monday. 

The force also advised citizens to be cautious and to avoid boarding vehicles that do not display proper commercial colours or lack proper identification.

The security alert read, "It has become vital to intimate members of the public about trending methods adopted by criminals to rob unsuspecting citizens of their possessions. One of such is known as 'Shifting Chair- One Chance.'

"The Nigeria Police Force advises citizens and other residents in Nigeria to be very watchful and avoid vehicles not marked commercially or vehicles without proper identification."
