Skitmakers Urge Multichoice To Pay Outstanding Prizes To BBNaija Winner, 'Phyna

The Practitioners of Content Creating, Skit-making and Influencers Guild of Nigeria has called on Multichoice to pay Big Brother Naija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, well known as 'Phyna' their prize commitment.

In an open letter signed by the Acting National President of the Practitioners of Content Creating, Skit-making and Influencers Guild, Micheal Nwabufo and addressed to the firm, the group demanded an urgent resolution for the outstanding debts owed to her.

The Big Brother Naija Season 7 (Level Up) winner 'Phyna', shared the letter on her Instagram account on Monday, with the caption "This is a young Nigerian woman trying to get what she deserves. I have enough respect for Multichoice, DSTV, and BBNaija) but it is imperative that sponsors uphold their commitments to winners of the show."

The memo titled, 'Urgent Resolution Required Outstanding Debt Owed To Phyna By Big Brothr Naija Season 7 Winnings', read, "We, the Practitioners of Content Creating, Skit-making and Influencers Guild (PCCSIGN), write to you on behalf of Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, well known as 'Phyna', a value member of our guild, regarding the outstanding debts owed by Quidax Global 1 BTC $70,052,00, seven-up bottling company (Pepsi) - 1 year supply of Pepsi product, Travelbeta - a trip for twl to Dubai, and Evans Industries (Unik Soap) - one year supply of Pepsi supply of soap product, which constitute part of the prizes she won as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7 (Level Up), held from July 23 to October 2, 2022.

"PCCSIGN is a professional guild representing the interest of its members engaged in content creating, skit making, and influencing, our organisation was established with the purpose of serving as an umbrella body dedicated to protecting, adhering to, and responding to the legitimate concerns of its constituents.

"We write to solicit your support in facilitating the release of the price owed to Phyna by the aforementioned brands. It is imperative that sponsors do not undermine the integrity of the show and raise doubts in public opinion.

"We urge you to prioritise this matter and collaborate with us to ensure Phyna receives the prizes rightfully due to her. We believe that through open communication and mutual cooperation. We can swiftly resolve this issue and uphold the integrity of the Big Brother Naija franchise 

"We appreciate your attention to this urgent matter and eagerly anticipate your timely response. Please feel free to contact us to discuss potential avenues for resolution."

The 26-year-old media personality on April 2, disclosed on her X handle that the famous reality show has not given her the complete prizes and money but wants to start another season of the show.
