Again, 6.3 magnitude earthquake hits Afghanistan

Afghanistan has once again been hit by another 6.3 magnitude earthquake.

The earthquake which occurred in Herat on Wednesday morning was confirmed and made known by the World Health Organisation country office in Afghanistan via its X handle.

However, the apex health organisation added that medical experts were on the ground to help the injured get medical assistance.

“Afghanistan woke up to another 6.3 magnitude earthquake today, shaking parts of the western region previously affected by the HeratEarthquake. Teams are on the ground ensuring the injured get the medical help they need and saving lives,” the post read.
